I love dogs!
As a child and teen our family dog would hang out in my room while I studied and that is where he slept as well. Since then I have cared for my own dogs, cats, birds, goats, chickens and horses. I have also fostered a few dogs. It has always been hard for me to leave my own pets, so I understand the concern you have for leaving yours.

Schedule
I am not working, so I am home most of the time. I leave for only short periods of time, usually 2-3 hours. I can place your dog in their crate when I leave if you like! I can do treats as well, just bring them or I can treat with tiny milk bones or freeze dried training treats with your okay. I will feed and treat based on your instructions. I make sure they go out to potty many times a day and am alert when they ask to go out. I have a doggie door if your pet uses one.! I can close the doggie door at night if you prefer.

Safety, trust & environment
My yard is fully fenced with a block wall. I have plenty of grass. No pool. I have a doggie door and a sliding door to the backyard. I am always alert for when they need to go outside. I am very mindful that no dog gets out of the front door! I have a door on each side of my laundry room, so I close the first door before going out the door to the garage. My first concern is always safety and my second is that they are comfortable and happy. You are welcome to bring dog beds and favorite toys. I have many safe toys here, please let me know your preference with them.

A typical day
I am home except possibly a few hours per day. I have a doggie door to the block fenced backyard. I will feed and treat your dog as instructed. If the weather is nice, the dogs all seem to like when I sit outside with them. They like to know I am there so they feel free to explore and get some fresh air and exercise.
