I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and proud dog owner for over 50 years! As a registered nurse who works from home, I’m able to provide plenty of attention, care, supervision, and love to the dogs in my care. I also have volunteer experience working with animal shelters and have fostered shelter dogs, which has given me the opportunity to care for dogs with a variety of personalities, needs, and backgrounds. I have one sweet dog of my own, Bailey, a 6-year-old Shih Tzu who loves to play and make new friends! Your pup will have a loving home environment, companionship, and lots of attention while you’re away. I would love the opportunity to care for your furry family member! ❤️🐶

Shellee took amazing care of our Oakley. It was our first time leaving him, so I was a little nervous but the instant I met Shellee, I knew he was in great hands. She sent me lots of pics and updates and checked in with me prior to taking him to the dog park. Oakley made friends with her little dog, Bailey. I would highly recommend Shellee!
Easy drop off, great host. Great co-host with her shih-tzu Bailey who my dog loved hanging with! Sedona had a great day here and thankful to have this host in downtown Fredericksburg so you can deposit your dog for out of town winery visits!
Shellee was the most wonderful! She took such good care of our dog, taking her to the park, on frequent walks, and also sent us lots of photos and updates while we were away. We would 100% recommend her to anyone needing a great dog-sitter! Thank you Shellee for everything!!
Shellee is so awesome. She has offered more than once to bring LaRue home for me when he visits her home. She ALWAYS walks him and her kids also spoil him.
Shellee always takes great care of LaRue and he is always happy and tired after he goes yo visit her and when she comes to him he gets special attention as well.
Again Shellee is very accommodating!! La Rue is bery happy when she visits.

Schedule
I work from home, which allows me to give your dog plenty of attention throughout the day. I take my own dog outside for potty breaks and walks every 2–3 hours, and your pup will be included in that routine! Your dog will be welcome inside my home during the day and will always be supervised while enjoying time in the backyard. To accommodate allergies, I do limit in-home boarding to hypoallergenic dogs.

My yard is fenced. I always supervise my dog while outside, and always on leashes while in front and on walks. Your fur babies would be my fur babies… I’d love them as my own.

A typical day
We do several walks per day, and have cozy spots for nap time. Fresh water …and treats available (if ok with parents.) We have a dog park in close proximity if you allow field trips.
