I work part time as a behavior technician so my schedule is pretty flexible. I mostly work evenings and I am off on Sundays and Mondays. I am also available most mornings.

Pet care experience
My parents have been breeding basset hounds since I was 6 years old. Ever since I can remember I have always helped my parents take care of our bassets. I would also help with the deliveries, which means I also have experience with taking care of puppies! My boyfriend has a pit bull mix and whenever I visit with him I will also help take care of his dog as well. She has a lot of energy so we take lots of long walks together.

This was our first time using a sitter on Rover (and someone who wasn't family) so we were a little nervous with how our dogs would handle it. We've also never had a stranger watch our house before so we were grateful we could trust Shelby right away. As soon as my dogs met Shelby I could tell they would be fine. She has a calming, quiet presence which was perfect for my nervous pitties. I could tell immediately she was a dog lover. She followed instructions exactly and left everything just as she found it. Our shy kitties even came out while she was here so we knew everyone was in good hands. She even stayed longer when our flight was delayed which provided a lot of peace of mind. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Shelby again!

Shelby is WONDERFUL with both my high energy beagle/lab mix and with my little old shih tzu. She sends pictures while I’m gone, is very meticulous with notes at a meet up and updates as well. I trust her in my home and with my pups. Highly recommend.
Shelby does an amazing job with Hondo! He loves her and really enjoys spending time with her. Such a relief to have a kind, efficient and reliable person helping us with him. Thank you!
