There has never been in a time in my life where I haven’t lived with at least one animal. Pets have been a major part of my family dynamic, so much so that we often joke that animal welfare runs in our blood. I’ve been pet sitting full time for over two years and have experience with seniors, puppies, adults and breeds ranging from Chihuahuas to Great Pyrenees. Occasionally I work as an assistant to a dog trainer to teach “stranger danger”, or how to relax a dog when a new person comes to their home. Animals tend to warm up to me quickly, and this is a badge of honor I wear proudly.

When I am at your house I am there for your dog. I try to make it as much of a vacation for them as possible and tend to spoil them. I would throw a ball or play tug-of-war until I’m exhausted. I have a strict leash policy when walking and will follow schedules as closely as possible. I tend to double and triple check crates, doors, and gates. It’s always better safe than sorry.

Shelby was awesome! She took great care of my dogs while my husband and I went out of town overnight. Everything was neat and tidy when we returned.

Shelby is a kind-hearted animal lover, who has been a good pet sitter for many years. Her family all loves animals and she grew up with them. I have seen her take care of farms, single dogs and cats, and she is a compassionate caretaker for all of the animals. She has a cat and dog in her home and familiarity with animal-care. She has years of pet sitting experience, and is a trustworthy and reliable sitter. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I am a full time pet sitter with a part time traveling job. I already know my travel schedule through the end of the year so I would be able to give plenty of heads up before I am out of town. I am typically very flexible and can visit your pup at any time.
