Safety, trust & environment
At your home I am happy to spend as much time during check-ins, sitting or walks as you'd like, and I am able to take your pet to nearby parks as well! I am attentive to their needs, especially during play, keeping an eye out for exhaustion, dehydration or any other alarming behavior. I follow client instructions to the letter.
Information Shelby T. would like to know about your pet
I am happy to work with your pet's needs. Please make sure to let me know any feeding and medication info ahead of time, along with whatever quirky habits your pet has that I should know about. Knowing if they jump on strangers, their favorite toys and treats, or if they understand basic commands (stay/sit/come) is also helpful! Having a plan in case of emergency—including your preferred emergency vet—is critical.
A typical day
My childhood pets have always been natural explorers, and I try to embrace this spirit when working with your pet. Allowing them ample time to stop and smell everything there is to smell along the walk, I exercise patience and pay special attention to your pet's behaviors. We can explore nearby trails or take a trip to the local park for plenty of fun! If you have an indoor homebody pet, we can still have a great time, whether it's still a playful or relaxed approach.

Pet care experience
Growing up on a ranch, I've had years of experience working with animals. But not just cows and pigs—I'm skilled with dogs and cats, too, and have animal shelter volunteer experience to boot! I additionally have a year of work experience at a veterinary clinic. I'm 24, and energetic enough to keep up with your pet.
Cat care experience

Shelby also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews
Shelby is always available when I need them to watch my cat Spinach and follows my instructions down to the letter! Spinach has a lot of separation anxiety and a special diet, so having someone like Shelby around to play with and take care of her is super helpful, and I highly recommend them for all of your petsitting needs.
Well, Shelby is my daughter, and I can honestly say she prob loves animals more than people. When she was little, we use to call her Ellie Mae, because she always had many pets on our farm we lived on. When she got older, she started volunteering at animal shelters because she loved helping as much as she could. We have 2 dogs now, and she spoils them rotten. Shelby will not disappoint you when it comes to your animal. Susan
