I have loved animals as far as I can remember. The first time I remember loving an animal was when I was about 5 years old. He was our black cocker spaniel named Blacky 🐾 that boy would follow us to the end of the drive way every morning for the school bus and would meet us there every afternoon when we got off the bus. He always rolled over for belly rubs and was always our shadow when playing. I even practice cutting hair at just 9 years old on Blacky. He desperately needed a haircut. Let’s just say it wasn’t your ideal grooming but Blacky didn’t care, he layed still anyways. He showed us so much love. It’s been about 20 years since Blacky passed but I have opened my heart to so many furbabies since. I grew up and now I work with animals daily. I was aVet Tech for 5 years and I have decided to stay home and welcome fur babies into my home so they can have a safe place to stay while their family is away. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else and I can guarantee your fur babies are in great hands with my family’s love for animals and my knowledge over the years from vet teching.

Shelby is the best! She took such good care of my Bernese Mountain Dog. Not all sitters are good with large dog breeds but I knew he was going to be fine as soon as I met Shelby. She even gave him a bath before I picked him up! Absolutely would book again.
Penny was SO happy at Shelby’s house. She loved playing with the other dogs and animals, and had so much space to run. Shelby was responsive and sent pictures. Would definitely use Shelby again!!

Schedule
I work from home so I spend the majority of my time at home! That gives me the ability to give your fur babies the attention they need without being left alone for hours at a time!

I have a fenced in yard for plenty of exercise, a pond for the water dogs and entire room just for pets! We give them plenty of attention and even cuddle them while settling in for the night or watching a movie. I have plenty of experience in treating pets with disabilities or medical needs.

I like to treat your pet as if they were my own. Part of the family. They will have lots of play time socializing and cuddles!
