Because I’m home most of the time, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and quick responses to any needs. Overall, caring for dogs fits seamlessly into my schedule and is something I genuinely enjoy prioritizing every day!

Please share any medical needs, medications, allergies, or past health concerns, along with feeding routines and daily habits. It’s also very important to know how your dog does with other dogs, since I host a small number at a time and want to ensure everyone gets along well. Let me know about their temperament, energy level, and any behaviors I should be aware of (like separation anxiety or reactivity). The more I know upfront, the better I can provide a smooth, happy experience for your pet.
A typical day
I love keeping dogs engaged with a mix of playtime, snuggles, and backyard zoomies depending on their energy level. My goal is to make sure every pet is happy, stimulated, and feels right at home.

Pet care experience
I’m a lifelong animal lover excited to care for your pet! I grew up with cats, dogs, and horses of my own, and I’ve volunteered at zoos and animal rescues. Right now, I have a corgi and a golden retriever who are both super friendly and love having new dog friends around. I work from home, so your pup will get lots of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I also have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and fresh air. I only accept up to two guest dogs at a time so I can provide individualized care and attention. Please schedule a meet and greet if you’re interested in having your pet stay with me. While they’re boarded, your dog will be treated like one of my own 🐾

She was very communicative with photo/videos and updates on how he was doing throughout my trip and helped to put me at ease! Very thankful for her care for my dog’s appetite and making sure he is well taken care of (and enjoying lots of play time with her lovely dogs!)
Shelby is amazing! She took care of them as if they were her own. She gave them tons of love and compassion. She sent tons of videos and text that kept me well informed. Which is what I needed because I am an extremely neurotic about leaving my babies. I love her so much. I’ve already rebooked to have her watch my dogs again.. I highly recommend Shelby.
Shelby was absolutely incredible. She was so accommodating and sent us so many picture and video updates while our pup stayed with her. She was very responsive and kept us up to date on how our dog was doing. I would definitely recommend her.
Shelby was amazing! Our Molly seemed to have a great time and got along with her pups. So many cute videos and pictures! We would love to use Shelby again! They took great care of her!
