Shelby always takes the best care of Sonny! We had trouble getting back to pick him up in this snow storm and she was helpful and flexible in helping us figure out a later pick up date. We knew he was safe and well taken care of.
Shelby was great with my puppies! She handled my big 11 year old boy and my 5 mos old puppy. We got lots of regular updates. And while I was worried about the puppy since she is pretty timid and fearful, she seems to have developed a lot of confidence while we were gone. Not nearly as fearful of my husband as she was last week! Being able to stay in their home I think really helped. Thank you!
Shelby took wonderful care of my Pigeon Sunnylove for me. She sent so many pictures showing me Pigeon eating, playing and getting pettings, the pictures really soothed my anxiety over having to leave her during my trip. I am very grateful for the wonderful care Shelby gave to my cat.
I was so hesitant using rover. In the past my dad would watch my dog but he recently passed away so I had to find someone else to watch my fur babies. Shelby did an amazing job! Sending photos and updates and now that I’m home my pets are super happy and relaxed which isn’t always the case after a trip. Was a weight off my mind and already plan on using Shelby again!

Super accommodating! We had a crazy morning and she helped us look for a sandwich we thought we left and met us for the key when our initial plan fell through. She got our super shy cat to warm up to her and was very detailed in her updates! We will have her sit for us again!

Schedule
My career is contract based so I have large gaps of time where I can devote lots of attention to your pet. I also typically work from home while working. I have plenty of time and flexibility. While I have my own pets, my husband watches them you need me to housesit.

I like to make sure they keep their normal schedule, routine, and environment. While in my home, pets can be free to roam and play and multiple walks a day. If you typically crate them periodically or at night, I can keep that consistent if desired. In your home, I keep the house quiet and clean to minimize any potential stressors and keep with their normal routine. I treat your house the way I would want someone to treat my own home.

A typical day
A typical day starts with a 30 min walk, breakfast, 1 hour of time to digest, 30 min play session, another walk. Then some down time while I work/clean/run an errand. Afternoon walk, play time, dinner, night time walk. A treat and get tucked into bed.
