I’ve been caring for animals since I was 14, starting with horses and gradually expanding to dogs and cats. In recent years, I’ve mainly focused on house sitting and pet care. I’m comfortable handling a range of behavioral challenges, including pets who tend to run off or show signs of aggression. I also have experience with dogs that require strict health routines, such as medications, special diets, and regular care schedules. I aim to create a calm, safe environment for every pet I care for—and treat each one with the same attention and love I’d give my own.

Each animal is treated with the same love, patience, and respect I give my own pets. My passion for animals runs deep—so much so that I’m currently studying to become a veterinary technician to further my ability to provide the highest standard of care. Whether it’s a playful pup or a senior cat, I ensure every pet feels safe, loved, and well looked after.

Shelby was awesome with our 4 cats and 2 dogs while we were on vacation. The house was just as we left it when we got home and all of the animals were happy. She sent daily updates with pictures which we really appreciated. We will definitely be using Shelby again!
Shelby is amazing, she took such great care of our two dogs and house while we were out of town. You can tell she genuinely cared for the wellbeing of our pups. She sent picture updates, responded to our messages promptly and left our house in better condition than we left it before our trip. I would highly recommend her. We will 100% book again.

Schedule
I’m based in Oroville and work full time (never earlier than 8am and no later than 6:30pm), but am available for pet sitting any day of the week! I’m free all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays for walking, feeding, and giving your pets the attention they deserve. Whether you need a quick check-in or some extra company!
