Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I only take on a manageable number of dogs at a time to ensure personalized care and attention. My home features a large, fully fenced-in yard for secure outdoor play, and I supervise all activity closely. I maintain a calm, structured environment that reduces stress and supports positive behavior. With my medical background, I’m also confident in recognizing signs of discomfort, injury, or illness early—and I’m experienced in administering medications when needed. Most importantly, I treat every pet as if they were my own, building trust through patience, consistency, and lots of love

Information Shelby R. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for your dog, I like to know as much as possible to provide the best experience. This includes their: • Temperament and comfort level with strangers or other dogs • Energy level and usual daily routine • Medical needs, allergies, or medications • Triggers or fears (e.g., loud noises, certain dogs, bikes, etc.) • Favorite activities, toys, or comfort items • Walking style (heel, puller, leash-reactive, etc.) • Commands they know or are working on The more I know, the better I can ensure your pup feels safe, understood, and cared for like family

A typical day

A typical day starts with a morning potty break and a nice walk or play session to get the day going. If your dog is staying with me, we’ll alternate between structured activities (walks, fetch, training refreshers) and downtime for rest and cuddles throughout the day. Midday includes a walk or backyard play session, depending on their energy and the weather. I keep a close eye on hydration and give meals or snacks based on your dog’s schedule. Evening wind-down includes another walk, some relaxed indoor time, and a final potty break before bed. Whether I’m walking your dog or caring for them overnight, you can count on clear communication, regular updates, and lots of tail wags.

Pet care experience

Hi there! I’m a passionate and experienced dog lover with years of hands-on care for a wide range of breeds from energetic puppies to senior dogs over 10 years old. Thanks to my medical background, I’m fully comfortable providing care for dogs with special medical needs, including administering medications and managing health routines with confidence and compassion. Your pup will have plenty of space to play and explore in my fully fenced-in yard, and I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise with regular walks or runs, depending on their energy level. Whether your dog loves to play, snuggle, or just enjoy a calm, structured environment, I tailor my care to fit their unique personality and needs. Most importantly, I’m committed to treating every dog as if they were my own—with love, patience, and the highest level of care. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member and help provide the safe, happy experience they deserve.
