I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old, so caring for animals has been part of my life for 35 years. I currently have dogs of my own and am comfortable caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’m also experienced with cats, birds, reptiles, and other small pets. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust in your home and with your pets, and I’m happy to provide plenty of photos and updates while you’re away.

I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I’ll follow your instructions closely and care for your pets the way they’re accustomed to. I take safety seriously on walks and during drop-in visits, including securely closing doors and gates and keeping dogs leashed whenever required. I’m comfortable with multiple-pet households and pets of different ages, sizes, and energy levels. I’ll also provide photos and updates so you can feel confident that your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

Shelby is the best! She's cared for my dogs and is confident and kind. She pays attention, she's appropriate about enforcing boundaries and rules. She is a dedicated pet parent as I've personally witnessed over many years now. She really understands and listens and follows through.
Shelby has been amazing with animals all her life. She is currently a loving pet mom to 4 dogs and a parakeet. She treats all animals with love and care like they were her own children.

Schedule
Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine! I have four dogs of my own, and I walk all four every day. We also visit a nearby dog park a couple of times a week for extra exercise, play, and enrichment. I’m used to planning my day around walks, feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and making sure everyone gets the attention they need. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate drop-in visits and walks throughout the day.
