Shelby took care of our cat Meep for a week and a half while we were out for the holidays. It was our first time using Rover, and she made sure to answer all our questions and offer reassurance for any concerns we had. Meep took to Shelby quite quickly and the two became fast friends, Meep adores Shelby now. She always provided updates and pictures over text and was very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. She's now our go-to sitter for Meep whenever we go out of town. We can always trust Shelby to take care of our fur baby, thank you so much Shelby!
Shelby has taken care of my cat, Taco, and my dogs, Maxine and Kenny, and I trust her completely with all of them. She is incredibly responsible, loving, and attentive, and she always follows every direction carefully. My pets are always so happy and excited whenever Shelby is around, which gives me so much peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend Shelby to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet caregiver!

Schedule
I am currently working part-time, but will be easing up on my schedule as I am currently on summer break before I start dental school in the fall. The summer months will be very flexible and I can work with your schedule!

I have great communication and love to send as many updates as you need on how things are going! I am extremely detail-oriented, and can follow your routine, schedule, or any specific needs your pet has to make sure you and your pet are confrontational and happy!
A typical day
I tailor each day to the pet’s individual energy level and personality. For high-energy pets, I enjoy taking them on longer walks and exploring nearby trails to help them get their energy out, along with active play like fetch or toy-based games. For more relaxed pets, I focus on companionship, whether that’s cuddling, sitting with them for comfort, or giving them gentle attention throughout the day. I always aim to meet each pet’s needs so they feel engaged, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away.
