I work full time swings typically 3p-10/12p it varies during the week. When I’m not working I’m a home body so your pets will have company with them most of the morning. I do know my schedule usually a month in advance so I am able to let you know before you officially book and you can decide if it works for you.

I prefer to stay in their home which allows them to stay comfortable and in their own environment, new places can cause fur babies unnecessary stress and no one wants that. I prefer to keep their routine as normal as possible as well so if they get fed at 5 am I set an alarm to ensure they get fed at their normal time as well.

A typical day
It depends on the dogs, if they enjoy just cuddling and hanging around all day we will do that but if they are more energetic I am more than willing to go outside and do some throwing or even a walk if my schedule allows me the time to do it.

Hi, I’m Shelby! I’ve been pet sitting for over 12 years, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with both dogs and cats gave me a lifelong love for animals of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, anxious pets, and multi-pet households. I’m comfortable administering oral medications when needed and always take the time to learn each pet’s unique routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. While I haven’t administered injectable medications yet, I’m eager to learn and am happy to follow your veterinarian’s instructions or the routine you’ve established if appropriate. I understand that every pet is different, and I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible—from feeding schedules and walks to playtime, bedtime, and all the little details that help them feel at home. One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is building lasting relationships with both pets and their owners. I’m fortunate to have many wonderful repeat clients who trust me with their furry family members time and time again, and I’m happy to provide references upon request. When I’m not at work, you can usually find me spending time with the pets in my care. I know how important consistency, companionship, and enrichment are, so you can expect your pets to receive plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, cuddles, and lots of love. Communication is one of my top priorities. Throughout your booking, you’ll receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you always know how your pets are doing. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind, knowing they’re safe, happy, and being treated like family. I work a regular afternoon/evening schedule on some weekdays. Before accepting a booking, I’ll always discuss my availability with you to make sure it’s the right fit for your pet’s needs. If your pet requires frequent potty breaks or can’t be left alone for extended periods, we’ll make sure we’re a good match before confirming the booking. Whether your pet loves long walks, endless games of fetch, quiet cuddle time, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members!

We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter! She took such great care of our house, our three dogs, and our cat while we were away. She sent us lots of pictures of our fur babies, which made it so much easier to relax and enjoy our trip. She also kept us updated on everything that was going on, so we always knew they were happy and well cared for. It was obvious she genuinely cared about our pets and treated them like they were her own. Coming home to happy animals and a well-kept house gave us so much peace of mind. i can’t recommend shelby enough! she’s my go to pet sitter, & i trust her completely with all of my animals. between my reptiles & dogs, she’s cared for a whopping 10 of my pets 😅 including three senior dogs & one disabled dog who all require a little extra attention & care. i’ve left town for several days at a time, & shelby has stayed overnight to take care of everyone. she gives all of the pets so much love, keeps me updated with photos & texts, & i always know they’re in great hands. it’s such a relief being able to enjoy my trip without worrying about them. on top of that, she always leaves my house clean & tidy, which i really appreciate coming home to. she’s dependable, caring, so so kind, & truly treats my pets like they’re her own. i wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their animals!
