I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. Over the years I’ve cared for pets for family, friends, and neighbors, working with a variety of breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, playtime, feeding, medication administration, or simply some extra love and attention while you’re away, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I have experience with puppies, adult dogs, and senior pets, and I’m comfortable reinforcing basic training and routines that owners are already working on at home. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and comfortable while giving you peace of mind. I believe communication is key, so you can expect regular updates and photos during every visit. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they receive the care, attention, and affection they deserve. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Safety, trust & environment
I will make safety my top priority. I prefer not to keep any aggressive dogs as mine are very friendly and want to play which may make an aggressive animal uncomfortable. Rabies vaccine must be up to date as well as flea and tick prevention if possible to keep all pets safe and healthy.

Shelby took fantastic care of our dog Bailey. She communicated clearly and promptly and helped Bailey to adapt well to her home while we were away. Shelby was flexible with the schedule and allowed us to extend Bailey’s stay on short notice. We appreciate the support we received from Shelby and wouldn't hesitate to leave Bailey with her in the future.
Shelby is so sweet and loves all animals more than anyone else I know! She has more love for animals than anything else and I would recommend her to anyone 100x if I could.

Miss Shelby is an absolute dog whisperer!! If it weren’t for Shelby, my husband and I would never be able to spend time together by ourselves. She’s an absolute sweetheart. My babies love her so very much. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my babies other than Shelby. Not only is she amazing with our babies. She’s such a great person. She had an amazing can do attitude. She’s also very helpful with anything we need. She spoils them for sure. I highly recommend Shelby!
I highly recommend Mrs. Shelby Moody. She has offered my wife and I amazing caregiving towards our 2 dogs. I wouldn’t trust anyone else but Shelby. She always puts the dogs before herself and I love that about her. She’s respectful, caring, generous, responsible and absolutely hard working. Our fur babies absolutely LOVE Shelby. Maybe more so than they love us. Shelby is our go to when we need someone.

Schedule
I currently work as a 3rd grade teacher at a private school. During June/July/August I will be home full time since school is not in session and will be able to care for your pets!
