I always had dogs growing up and have experience in veterinary medicine. I now work as a Registered Nurse. I am a cat mom to 2 sweet girls and I often pet sit for friends and family. I have experience with cats, dogs, and senior pets. I am comfortable giving all types of medications. I was a dog groomer for about 3 years while I was in nursing school, and groomed my own dogs growing up. My priority is making sure pets feel loved and are entertained while you are away!

I prefer to care for pets in their own home. I find that especially with cats, they are much more comfortable in their home where they feel safe. I prioritize stimulation and comfort so that your baby isn’t bored while you are away! I am familiar with special diets, medication administration, pet grooming, and senior care.

Shelby has watched my wife and i’s cat Fred on numerous occasions with very little notice and has always been understanding of his needs as well as our own within our home. She always takes time to make sure Fred is not only fed and cleaned up after; but that he is also shown affection and given pets so that he can be more comfortable on days that we can’t be there with him. Shelby does an awesome job and you can really tell she loves the animals she is caring for! I can’t recommend her enough!
I can't recommend Shelby enough! She has been caring for my family's pets for years, and there is no one we trust more. She truly treats every pet as if they were her own, and it's such a comfort knowing they're in loving, capable hands. One of the biggest reasons we always feel at ease is her background. She worked at a veterinary office and is now a registered nurse, so she has an incredible eye for noticing when something might be off and always knows how to handle situations calmly and responsibly. Over the years, she's also been our go to person whenever we've had questions or concerns about our pets, and her advice has always been thoughtful and reassuring. She's dependable, compassionate, communicative, and genuinely loves animals. Our pets are always excited to see her, and we never have to worry when we're away. Shelby, is an amazing pet sitter! My dog Jackson loves when she comes over and takes him for walks! She goes above and beyond, and even spends extra time playing ball with him.

Shelby is one of the most dependable and caring people we could ask to watch our pets. Whenever we travel, no matter how long we're gone, we know we can completely trust her with our cat, Fred. We only asked her to feed him and scoop his litter, but she always goes above and beyond. She washes his food bowls, spends time playing with him, and gives him plenty of love and attention instead of just popping in and rushing out. It's obvious she genuinely cares about the animals she watches. Fred has even grown to look forward to seeing her! I can't recommend Shelby enough to anyone looking for a responsible, trustworthy, and loving pet caregiver.

Schedule
I work M-F 8-5 with a 1 hour lunch break. I am almost always available on weekends. It is no trouble for me to stop by to care for your pet on my way to and from work, before bedtime, and maybe even my lunch break!
