I currently am working full-time from home so I have plenty of time and opportunities to show your dog the love and attention they deserve! That being extra walks, playing with toys, or even well-deserved naps.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a condo so your dog must be willing to go potty on a leash. It is preferred that the dog be crate trained when no one is home, however, if a dog is used to being alone and does not typically destroy furniture or such, then happy to leave him/her out loose in my space if I am not home for a few hours.

Information Shelby K. would like to know about your pet
If your dog is on any sort of special diet, how well he/she do around other dogs, if they are allowed on the couch/bed or not. Also, I do work from home but how well your dog does with being left alone for a few hours.
A typical day
Sometimes I think I enjoy playing tug of war or fetch more than some of the dogs! I also have a dog friendly car so if you are okay with it, I’m happy to take your dog to a park or even out on a natural trail.

Pet care experience
Familiar with a lot of different dog breeds and sizes. I’m happy playing fetch or tug of war for hours or laying on the couch being lazy, whatever your dog prefers that day. I’m active, upbeat, and fit (for those big dogs out there) and pays attention to how dogs are feeling. I’d be cautious when walking/letting out your dog and aware of our surroundings. I know how hard it can be to leave your pup at home, so I strive to provide great communication with lots of photos and updates. On the same note, I understand that dogs are always learning and will be more than happy to follow whatever rules or training efforts you and your dog are working on. I’m responsible and trustworthy and am really just looking to meet some of the amazing dogs that are out there!
Reviews

Shelby was absolutely amazing. I very rarely leave my dog for more than 3 days since my dog is pretty attached and a little anxious at times (I’m also just a protective dog mom). She stayed with Shelby for 6 nights and my dog was the happiest and most relaxed I have ever seen her from picking her up from a sitter. Shelby was very diligent with her care and commutative. 10/10 Thank you Shelby! ❤️

Great communication and cares so well for my dogs!

Shelby is wonderful! She took great care of my Lillie. She sent lots of pictures. Lillie got to go on some long walks and to the market. I think she had a better vacation than me 😂 I appreciate not having to worry about her while I was away. Thank you, Shelby! We’ll see you again!

First time using rover and Shelby was amazing and it was so fun getting updates throughout the weekend of the fur babies! She went above and beyond and kept me posted about everything that went on! I felt very comfortable with leaving and could tell they all had a great time!
