I have worked with dogs for a number of years, as a groomer and as a dog sitter. I presently have two, 3 year old collies. I love animals, and I can’t wait to get to know yours! Animals have been a passion of mine for a long time!

My dogs stay with Shelby all the time, and she’s absolutely perfect with them. She is fantastically communicative and cares about my dogs like they were her own! I cannot recommend Shelby enough!!

Schedule
*I WORK MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 8 to 5pm, I do come home on my lunch and my office is about 10 minutes from my home* I have weekends off and tend to be a homebody!

I have a half acre fenced in yard in Portage and my two dogs love to spend time with other pups. I use gates to keep dogs separated and safe when I am away from home! ***Additionally for peace of mind I am an insured dog boarder***
Pets
A typical day
We spend a lot of time in our large backyard, and sometimes pups like to get their zoomies out in the living room. As long as everyone is safe and happy, we go with the flow of the day. I do use enrichment toys to tire pups out, like treat puzzles, snuffle mats and licki mats when we have rain or tumultuous weather.

- I do require information in regards to any allergies, anxiety or health concerns. I want to make sure your pets health and safety are number one. I do ask that you disclose any scenarios where your pup has escaped (have they every jumped a fence or ran through open doors), or if they have eaten anything that causes a health concern that I should be conscious of (ingesting toys, sticks or other animals poo for example). These are all things we can chat about via a meet and greet, and while my main concern here is safety please feel free to share anything that you think will give your pup the best staycation!
