Fun, loving, and active!
Family animals have been part of my life since I was 7 years old, so I have extensive experience in the emotional and practical needs when taking care of animals. I understand that pets are a part of the family and I will pass this compassion on to your loved ones. I love to play and spend quality time with them to keep their energy high and healthy, especially when their family is temporarily away. I understand that the absence of a loved one can be taxing on animals, so I will practice extra attentiveness to ensure they still feel lots of love!

Shelby was great and so were her dogs. We needed the opportunity to start socializing our puppy and she was exceptional at gradually introducing the dogs. Will be booking again.
Shelby was great, very easy to communicate with and she took good care of Mogli. She took her for a walk and has a high fenced yard for the dogs to explore.
Shelby was an amazing find on short notice to watch Maggie for the day while I went skiing. She has a fenced in yard and was home all day to keep Maggie entertained. She sent updates and pics by text. she is a true gem, you can rest easy knowing that your pet is well cared for with her
Unfortunately we were not able to house Kyo but Shelby was so incredibly friendly and accommodating.
Shelby was fantastic! She sent us updates every day and it was clear she really cares a lot for dogs. She was attentive, offered lots of love, and we knew our sweet fur baby was in great hands in her care. We will absolutely be working with her again!

Schedule
I recently moved to Durango and my schedule with my other job is fairly flexible. My living situation (Roomate who is allergic to dogs and cats) requires that I care for your animals outside of my home (no boarding).

When your pet is in my care, we would spend quality time outside and inside! I can alter our activities to the needs of your animal. I enjoy taking walks, playing games, and giving them lots of pets!
A typical day
I like to go to the park with the dogs or play fetch/tug of war in the yard. I also enjoy just sitting with them on the couch, petting them and making sure they know how loved they are!
