I spoil your Dogs with love!
Hello! My name is Shelby, my #1 passion is Dogs. I have had a Dog my entire life and would love to watch your Dog(s) for you. I'm from Seattle, WA but I currently live on the Big Island of Hawaii. Your Dog will love staying at my place, 3 acres in Hawaiian Acres, partially fenced with our friendly companion pups named Stinkaroo and Koa. "Stink" is a 50 lb rescue dog, Pitbull,Catahoula & Blue Heeler mix who is currently 4 years old, very friendly and submissive. Koa is a pitbull mix who is 2-1/2years old, also very friendly and has lots of energy. We also have an older pup who we rescued off the street. His name is Zeus and hes about 7 years old. He a bit of a mutt chihuahua, terrier mix. Zeus is smaller about 14 pounds, he is friendly but also can be a grumpy old man, very mellow. We lost 2 of our elder Dogs in 2019 to Cancer. Having new friends come and stay would be a joyful experience for all of us! Myself and my Husband both work from home, so we have lots of time to watch after your Dog and will never be left alone. For overnight visits, we are glad to send you pictures and updates Daily. We also offer drop offs and pick ups. Our Dogs sleep inside on a Dog bed or in our Bed. We do not chain up Dogs and prefer not to watch dogs that need to be chained up. We allow our Pup on the couch, but we are glad to follow all your house rules. If you have any questions, just ask! We'd love to do a meet & greet so we can make sure we're a right fit for you. Keaau, Kurtistown, and Pahoa are all 10 minutes from us. My husband and I work from home so we will have plenty of time to play with your pup, take walks, and potty breaks etc. We have a partially fenced in front yard, as well as a gate on our lanai so your pup can enjoy the nice weather safely. Anytime your pup is with us it will never be alone and will always be on leash when we go for walks, potty breaks etc. Our pups will also be here to keep yours company and happy.

We are so grateful for Shelby’s help with our two large, high-energy dogs. From the moment we met her, we felt completely confident in her care. She is an excellent communicator, keeping in touch before and during our trip—even sending pictures of our dogs having a wonderful time. Her ability to stay full-time at our home was especially valuable for our senior girl, who needs a little extra support. So grateful for Shelby and Jesse’s care for our 110 pound Huckleberry! Calm and assured pack leaders, Shelby and Jesse kept us updated daily on Huck’s stay, walks in the forest, and getting along with Stinky, Koa and Zeus, Huck’s new best buddies! Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a family approach to dog sitting (rather than an outdoor kennel environment, which we do not choose for our boy. I appreciated the time they took to get to know Huck so they can better care for him (meeting us ahead to walk with their dogs as an intro). Will definitely call on Shelby and Jesse again when needed. Mahalo!!
Shelby and Jesse's place was like Disneyland for my Minnie - from what I could see in the pictures Shelby sent, Minnie had an absolute blast with their dogs. I think she was a little sad to return home with me! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a homestay option that is both convenient for the owner and fun for the pup :)

Schedule
I work from home so I have a lot of flexibility when I am watching your pup. Potty break, walks, play time, out of the house adventures etc.

We enjoy taking the pups on long walks around our neighborhood or at parks, beach adventures, swimming, hiking, play fetch, car rides, and especially snuggle time.
