Loving and Reliable Dog Sitter
I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I have been a part of the Rover community since 2019 and have spent the past 6 years caring for animals and providing them with the love and attention they deserve. I am a Registered Practical Nurse who works shift work, so I have a flexible schedule and am more than willing to stay in your home to care for your pets when needed. I am comfortable around all dogs and am happy to adapt to each animal’s individual needs, routines, and personality. Whether it’s taking them for walks, playing, giving treats, or simply spending time with them, I will dedicate my time to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I am also a dedicated foster for two organizations, Myrtle Animal Rescue and Sanctuary and Happy’s Place. Giving animals a safe and loving space while they wait for their forever homes is something I am truly passionate about. I will always follow the rules and routines you have in place for your pets and will go above and beyond to provide them with the best care possible. I would love the opportunity to meet your animals and give them the same care and attention I would want for my own!

Bree took a liking to Shelby when she came for an initial visit. It was a relief leaving and knowing that Bree would be ok. I would not hesitate to have Shelby come again.
Shelby was great sitter! I contacted her kind of last min., and am grateful she was able to help us out. She took great care of our germain/husky dog. Our dog still suffers from separation anxiety. She sent updates, questions n pics. Would use her again in the future if need be. Thanks again🙂

Shelby responded promptly to my messages. She sent me photos of Mabel during her stay. I would definitely have Shelby look after Mabel again and would highly recommend!

Schedule
I am currently working full-time as an RPN on a shift-work schedule, so my availability can vary. I am available for drop-ins or house sitting when it aligns with my schedule, and I am also flexible and happy to accept last-minute bookings when I can. While caring for your pets in your home, I would love to take your fur babies for walks, play with them, give them lots of attention, and continue any routines or activities you already do with them to help keep them comfortable, happy, and feeling at home.

I would treat your animal as if it was my own. I would make sure there is no way for your animal to escape whether at your place or mine.
A typical day
30-Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighbourhood or a nearby trail, giving your pup the exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation they need throughout the day. 30-Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and, of course, plenty of love and snuggles to keep your pet happy, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. House Sitting includes staying overnight with your pup so they can enjoy the comfort and companionship of being in their own home. I’ll also provide daytime care every 4–6 hours for potty breaks, meals, playtime, walks, and lots of cuddles, while following their usual routine and your household rules.
