A typical day
I can take your dog(s) on walks through your neighborhood, as well as play fetch (or your dog’s favorite game)! If your dog enjoys the dog park, I’m happy to spend a visit taking them there to play.

Pet care experience
I grew up in a house full of animals. My spouse and I currently have 3 cats, 2 rats, and a snake, and we look forward to adding a dog to our family soon. I love puppies! (But who doesn’t?) Having already raised two of my own, I have experience working through the potty-training phase and can facilitate basic obedience while you’re away. I have also cared for a variety of less-conventional pets, including birds, turtles, lizards, and rabbits. I’m confident when it comes to pet care and I’m willing to take on any exotic pet! I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with you to choose a rate that is tailored to both my responsibilities and your budget. I understand that your pets are a part of your family, and I look forward to treating them like a member of my own.

From the moment Shelby walked into our home and our most reserved cat was the first to greet her, I knew we were in good hands! I always stress about traveling without my pets, but Shelby's calm demeanor put me at ease. She stayed in touch throughout our trip, sent lots of pictures and was very respectful of our home. We will absolutely be contacting Shelby whenever we travel in the future!
