With the same level of care I would expect of my own dogs. As my reviews say, I get to know every dog individually and what their needs are. Note that my star rating should be five stars, it’s just unfortunately Rover is letting one Karen who was abusing the app to try to pay less than she should affect it. (You can see my response to it). Even in that case, she was happy with how I took care of the dog, she was just trying to get free work out of me (everyone gets a customer like that at some point). I always make sure to make it clear with every pet parent what I am allowed to do and not allowed to do while staying at a house.

Please answer these questions before booking with me: 1. How will I get into the home? 2. Do you have cats (I am allergic - not a deal breaker, but good to know) 3. Will they be fed? If so how much? 4. Will you be constantly available to message or call? If you are not available, let me know an emergency contact. Please be honest here - I've already had an instance where I had to call the Rover emergency line because I couldn't get ahold of the owner - and they said they would be available and weren't. 5. Are they prone to destroying items or or consuming things they shouldn't? (Again, not a deal breaker, but I will ask you be constantly available to message)
A typical day
I will basically try to tire out the energetic dogs as much as possible. If your dog is calmer and more affectionate, I will give them lots of pets :) I can check in on cats, but I am allergic, so I can only play with them so much and can't really cuddle with them. I am not able to housesit houses with cats.

I have done dog sitting before, (to a very active lab mix no less) and have had dogs all my life. I am used to multiple personalities of dogs. I am known for asking very good questions, so I will be able to prepare with you to best take care of your doggo. I try to be consistent so they know what to expect. Note: I don't know why Rover says I only sent photos 90% of the time. I have sent them to everyone that wanted them, and take lots of pictures!

Shelby does an excellent job with our pups! We have used her before and she is exceptional. Definitely will request her services in the future.
Shelby was on time for all of her drop ins for our dog, but she grossly took advantage of the amenities at our home. She ate entire packages of unopened food, took showers, and washed several loads of laundry. This was NOT a house sitting job, all of these things were done during quick drop ins to take out our dog who is recovering from surgery and can’t even be taken on walks.
Shelby was a caring and playful sitter for our puppy. Very attentive and sent me lots of photos throughout the day. 5 stars!
