I am new to Rover & this area, however I am not new to this field! The reviews you will find on my page are from clients where I just moved from! I have been in the veterinary field since I was 14 years old. I started with kennels and caring for the animals and then moved up to veterinary technician. I am still currently employed as a virtual technician/receptionist. I have experience with all animals large and small! I have lots of references I would love to share with you! If there are any special requests please let me know I will try and be flexible. I am also open to negotiations! I look forward to getting to know your fur babies and this community! 🤍

Shelby was a very kindhearted and very good with my dog Dobby. When she left Dobby was looking for her around our house for 30 minutes 😂 we will be using her again for sure!
I’m so sad that Shelby moved away to Paola, because I’m never going to find a sitter as reliable as her. We have a zoo: multiple dogs, multiple cats, a macaw, chickens, and ducks. Before she moved, she was so helpful in caring for all of our pets, which at the time also included a geriatric Newfoundland that needed help getting up, sometimes needed help going potty, and was on medication too. I have also seen this girl outside in the rain rounding up my chickens who were too dumb to seek shelter. Shelby always treated my fur babies like they were her own, and provided me with so many updates that I didn’t have to ask for. I was able to travel anxiety free, all thanks to her!
If ever there were a Doctor Dolittle, it's Shelby! We have a menagerie of cats in our home which includes a few elderly cats (with health issues) and several rescued ferals (some of which don't get along). Finding a pet sitter who could handle the intricacies of each cat seemed impossible - until we found Shelby. She managed all six cats with extreme professionalism, sending us updates regularly. Shelby even took care of our outdoor feral cats, and the opossum who believed itself to be a cat. I can't recommend Shelby more highly. She is truly a lifesaver when we've got to travel.
Shelby cares for our pets like they are her own. Paying attention to details and special routines offering the best support and comfort to our pets when we are away. Her love for animals is apparent and all of our pets adore her!

Schedule
I currently have a remote full time job during the week and work 8 hour shifts. This allows flexibility and also 24/7 supervisor if your babies were to stay with me!
