What sets me apart from other sitters is that I’ve volunteered at animal shelters since I was eight, where I gained hands on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I also fostered dogs, helping with training, socialization, and basic care. In college, I helped care for my roommate’s dog, and since then, I’ve continued dog sitting for friends and coworkers. I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely love spending time with animals, and well cared for while their owners are away.

When caring for pets, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and loved in their usual routine. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow all feeding schedules, walking routines, and care instructions exactly as provided. I spend quality time playing with them, giving attention, and making sure they get plenty of exercise and affection. I always keep the home tidy and ensure the pet feels calm and cared for while their owner is away.

Shelby is my go to dog sitter whenever I am out of town. She always does an incredible job taking care of my very sweet, but very anxious hound mix. She updates me with photos and takes great care of my house! I could not recommend her enough!
Shelby has been working with and taking care of dogs for over 15 years. She has worked with a a few foster organizations to help walk and take care of the dogs in her home. She is comfortable around all different dog breeds. She is reliable and I would trust her with my dogs anytime!!

Schedule
I currently work full-time but have a flexible job to be able to come home/check in at lunch time on animals. I am also able to stay in homes to ensure the pets are most comfortable.
