I am self-employed and work remotely, so my schedule is very flexible and I can provide 24hr in home care as long as there is reliable internet. In 2026 Rover raised their fees to 30%, so unfortunately I have had to raise my rates. I have had pets all my life from fish, frogs, hamsters, birds, cats and dogs! In the past I worked at a doggy daycare and I was a livestock manager at Petcetera, so I also have professional experience dealing with a variety of other animals. Over the last 10 years I've consistently owned cats and dogs and, over the last 5 years, I've fostered many rescue dogs. My last dog was an Akita who lived to be 14, and I have experience administering medications, needles, supplements, accommodating mobility issues, and am well equipped to deal with special need animals. Currently I do not have any pets of my own, but my roommate has a cat who is very friendly and gets along with other animals. I am available for drop in visits, walks, and home/pet sitting - however, due to health problems, I do not offer drop-in walks through the winter.
