Pet care fits well into my weekly routine! I work as a dental hygienist on Tuesday afternoons, all day Wednesday and Thursday, and Friday mornings. My workday typically starts around 6:45 AM, so I'm available for early morning visits before work. Because I don't have enough time to leave during my lunch break, I'm unavailable for midday visits on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Outside of those times, I'm very flexible and am available most evenings, weekends, Mondays, and Tuesday mornings. I always do my best to provide dependable, consistent care and keep pet parents updated while they're away.

At this time, I offer drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting, but I do not offer boarding because we live in a townhouse with our two dogs. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I enjoy being active, so daily walks, playtime, and plenty of attention are always part of my visits. Whether your pet loves to play, go for walks, or simply relax and cuddle, I'll make sure they receive the care that's best for them. I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and compassion that I give my own dogs, and I strive to make them feel safe and comfortable while you're away.

I don't have any breed preferences and enjoy caring for pets of all sizes and personalities. Before a booking, I'd love to know about your pet's daily routine, energy level, temperament, favorite activities, any medications or medical conditions, allergies, dietary restrictions, and any behaviors I should be aware of. I also appreciate knowing how they do around other people and animals so I can provide the safest and most enjoyable experience possible. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make your pet feel comfortable and cared for. I do enjoy meet and greets as well to ensure that everyone involved will be comfortable with the visit!

A typical visit may include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, belly rubs, brushing (if they enjoy it), and plenty of love and attention. If your pet prefers a slower pace, I'm just as happy to spend time relaxing with them and keeping them company. I also enjoy sending photo and text updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

I've loved animals for as long as I can remember and have been caring for dogs since I was 16 years old. What started with helping care for my grandparents' dog grew into a lifelong passion for caring for pets of all ages and personalities. Over the years, I've gained experience with puppies, senior dogs, high-energy breeds, and more laid-back companions. I currently have two dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets while you're away. In addition to caring for my own pets, I've built a wonderful group of repeat clients through word of mouth. I take pride in providing dependable, loving care that keeps pets comfortable and gives owners peace of mind. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing for company, I’m happy to tailor my care to their needs. I also previously volunteered at Cedar Bend Humane Society, where I worked with dogs and cats of many different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, which strengthened my patience, compassion, and confidence with all types of animals. As a dental hygienist, I’m detail-oriented, dependable, and value clear communication. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for, and I’ll always provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind.

Shelby took such great care of our 15 year old beagle! We really appreciated her personalized care. Minnie felt comfortable and at home with Shelby almost immediately. We loved the pictures she sent us while we were away. All together her care was excellent and made leaving our furry, four legged family member behind so much less stressful than a typical kennel boarding situation. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful dog loving sitter.
