Hi Mom and/or Dad! 👋 I’m Shelby, and I’m thrilled to meet you and have the chance to get to know and love your pet(s)! I recently moved to Santa Monica from Phoenix with my husband and our three pups. I'm looking forward to getting back to pet sitting in a more regular capacity in this new stage of life. With me, your pets will get personalized, one-on-one care in your own home when you book a walk, drop in or overnight stay. I always prioritize being with your pets as much as possible so they aren't left alone for more than a few hours at a time when booking overnight stays. I’ve always been passionate about animals, having grown up with lots of rescue pets (cats, dogs, rabbits). I’ve volunteered at shelters, worked at a Humane Society using my marketing degree, we foster dogs when we can and I'm actually building a dog centric gifting brand currently. Last year, I drove 12 hours round trip in a day to save a dog from a California kill shelter. Dogs are my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. I understand how tough it can be to leave your pets, but you can trust me to care for them like my own (very loved and very spoiled 🙂). I’m experienced with special needs pets and can handle medication or unique diets. I adopted my first dog, Stella, well over a decade ago. She had cancer from the day I adopted her and I managed it for over 5 years to give her every ounce of quality life I could. I aim to build lasting relationships with pets and their humans. I'll make sure you feel comfortable when away from your pet(s) and your pets will be well loved and taken care of while I'm responsible for them. While I’m at your home, I’ll keep your pets on their regular schedule and send plenty of updates and photos. 📸 I can also help with watering plants and checking the mail, and I’ll make sure everything is tidy when you return. Our home has a fenced yard, doggy door, pet gates, and crates available when needed. Dogs are always allowed on the furniture at our house.

Shelby took great care of our precious toy fox terriers while we were out of town for 6 days. She sent us lots of photos and our dogs had a great time with her and her dogs. We can't thank you enough for the peace of mind of knowing that our pups are so we'll looked after and happy when we are away. (This is our 2nd time and we are very happy customers)
Shelby and her family were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! They were so accommodating and loving with our little boy! She frequently sent pictures to us throughout his stay keeping us happily updated! Their home was very clean and dog friendly. We absolutely will be using her again! Definitely 5 stars!! I would give 100 stars if I could! She’s the best!
Shelby took great care of our 2 toy fox terriers on their first ever night with a pet sitter who was not a relative. She has two lovely dogs of her own. Her place has a fenced yard and is in a nice dog friendly neighborhood. Shelby sent regular photos so we had great peace of mind. Asha and Rai were happy and in great spirits when we picked them up Highly recommended!

Shelby was great. Very easy to communicate with, very responsive. We left our two elderly girls with Shelby all day. They were well taken care of and happy campers upon our return. We would highly recommend Shelby.
This was our first ever sitter our dogs diid not know and our first time using a service!!! I reviewed several profiles and quickly settled on Shelby. The pictures she shared and her bio gave me a sense of ease immediately and her reviews just solidified it. Our 3 dogs (one being a rambunctious 1year old Newfoundland absolutely loved Shelby from their very first introduction! when we returned they all acted like we were never gone and thats attributed to Shelby!! Her pictures and updates showed our boys looking so happy and so normal!!! Shelby left us feeling confident and we never ever worried the whole time we were gone. Shelby knew the feedings and their schedules before she even met them. I have ZERO hesitation using Shelby anytime she’s available!! she is a genuine human being who absolutely loves our four-legged family members! She makes going on a vacation really going on a vacation with no worries once you leave your home ❤️
