I have worked as a foster parent of cats and dogs. I have also worked in a training facility for dogs who needed extreme training. I have also spent many years walking dogs.

Shelby L. is my daughter. We have always had pets in our home and she has loved and cared for them with all her heart. As 12 year old, she and a girlfriend volunteered for the Pet Adoption at PetCo. near our home every weekend for two years; she loved it and wanted to bring home every cat or dog she met! And sometimes she did! Later, as a teenager, she worked for a couple who trained dogs and and had a kennel in their home; there she learned a lot about training them. From that job, she extrapolated their methods into her own kinder, firm handed, Alfa Mom methods. She is an incredibly patient, loving person who currently has two cats and a dog of her own.
