I love all animals!
I've taken care of countless breeds since my parents got a dog when I was a kid. I’m comfortable caring for small, medium, large. I have a border collie mix that is the light of my life. I love all dogs, no matter how old, large, or active! I work from home and can walk dogs in the morning, lunch, mid-day, after work, and at night. Also happy to take care of dogs overnight. I have a very open schedule. I do not have children in the home. I have a front and backyard where the pups can play all day. I also live walking distance from Anacostia park and driving distance from several different dog parks. I’m happy to find any dog park near you for walks, and cater to your dogs needs whether that's walking slow and letting them sniff, or running around to get that energy out! Being as thought My neighborhood is pretty quiet and extremely dog-friendly. I work from home, so any pet and their needs will be catered to all day. My schedule is relatively flexible, and my evenings are generally open. I have two fenced yards where your pup can play. I also have a Rona boy who loves to play and is always down to make new friends. I’m flexible to any of your pets needs.

Shelby was one of the best sitters Miso has ever had- she was easygoing, super communicative, and made sure Miso received the absolute best care even though Miso has an ever growing list of needs as she’s gotten older. Miso came back happy and well-rested and really enjoyed having access to a backyard!
Shelby was a great sitter for Bailey. She got walks as well as a romp in the dog park. She came home tired and happy! Thank you Shelby for taking such good care of Bailey and for being so flexible and accommodating to our ever changing schedule ❤️

Shelby was absolutely amazing with George this past weekend! She was very professional, caring, and kept me updated the entire time with pictures and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. George seemed to have such a great time and came home happy and relaxed I could tell he was very well taken care of. I would definitely book with Shelby again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter!
Shelby was wonderful! She was very receptive of my pup's needs and went above and beyond to make sure Jasper was well cared for. I received multiple updates and the cutest photos of Jasper while I was away, which put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter.
