I’m a recent college grad with thankfully, a full time availability!! This means more time for you and your furbabies! The only day I am not available for overnight visits would be Sunday. However, please message me for specific availability.

I completely understand that your furbabies are your life! Your world and your whole heart! You do not have to worry. Every pup, kitty, or reptile :P will be treated just like my own. Your baby is my baby. Enrichment and bonding is super important to me so you may also get photos from me about practicing tricks or enjoying a new toy or treat (with your permission of course)! Proof of life photos are so important to helicopter pawrents (like me) so expect many! I look forward to meeting your pet and making not only your vacation the best but also theirs.

A typical day
I believe building trust with your pet is important! We will do lots of mentally stimulating activities such as PB Kong balls, string toys, or food puzzles (or other appropriate treats), walks around the neighborhood, and of course lots of snuggles!

Pet care experience
My entire life I have been taking care of animals. I have many years of experience caring for all types of pets…ranging from cats and dogs to fish, birds, and reptiles. I love animals and forming relationships and bonds with each unique pet I meet is something that I will never take for granted. Some of my most needed life lessons have been from animals! I am a recent college grad with lots of free time. I try to spend most of my time pet sitting or volunteering within my local community

Shelby was amazing with our shy 5-month old puppy! This was our first evening away from him and she kept us updated throughout the whole time with pictures and videos. We were actually able to relax and enjoy the time away knowing he was in such great hands. She even did great with our sassy cat Zoe! We will definitely be reaching out to her in the future!
Shelby really helped us out watching our dogs all day Sunday so we could spend the day in NYC last minute when a college friend told us he’d be in town. Our fearful English mastiff warmed up to her very quickly as did our timid malamute puppy. It’s so nice to have someone who can stay with the dogs all day when you have a new puppy who is still working on house training and crate training.
Shelby was great with both our dog and cat!! I would definitely use her again!
Thank you Shelby! We have an old lab and Shelby spent the weekend with her. I could tell she was in good hands and well taken care of. Thank you for the wonderful communication and all of the pictures!
