I am a stay at home mom, so I am able to tend to your pet at all times. Unlimited potty breaks throughout the day. If errands need to be ran, they will be crated.

I have a fenced in yard, so they work have access to a large backyard to roam under supervision. I do have a fairly large crate if a pet needs to be crated, as well as extra blankets to make the pet feel more at home. I have a 13 year old dachshund whom loves the company of other dogs.

It is ideal that I know if any pet has any special instructions such as, medications that need administered and how often, caring needs such as keeping eyes cleaned, etc., or any pet that has special needs and need specific care. I am open to any and all pets, and strive to provide the best care I can. So, it is important that each owner is as specific and detailed as possible!
A typical day
I have lots of toys for each dog to play with, as well as homemade treats. I love to work with dogs on learning new tricks, which is where the treats come in handy. Walks are a MUST and I know just the place to take them, as well as around the neighborhood where they can get a change in scenery and smells.

Pet care experience
I have been dog sitting since I was in high school, and I worked in a vet clinic setting for 5 years. I am qualified to take care of all types of animals in all kinds of conditions. Even though I don't work at a clinic currently, I have access to emergency care if needed.

Shelbi is absolutely phenomenal! She has been house sitting and animal sitting for us for years. She is wonderful with dogs, cats and fish! Speaking as someone who has had issues with house sitters in the past, we were thrilled to find Shelbi. We have never once had an issue with her service, and she frequently goes the extra mile completely unprompted. We have enjoyed her immensely and trust the safety and security of our home and our animals to her without a second thought.
Shelbi is a very responsible and dependable person with a passion for animals!! Her dedication shows in every job she does. She is definitely my go to person when I can't care for my fur babies myself!!
Shelbi is by far our first choice when we need a pet sitter. We have several pets including exotics, and a dog she had to administer medication to. She is attentive and takes care in understanding what each pet needs. She was not overwhelmed by our small zoo and took great care of everyone. She has pet sat for us on a few occasions, the last one for a period of two weeks. During that time she kept our house tidy and stayed in communication with us on a regular basis, eliminating the stress of leaving the pets and house behind. Above all, Shelbi is trustworthy, and our pets love her.
