Home on a Lake with Big Yard
I live on a small lake just outside of Duluth. I have a Shih Tzu named Poika and a Black Lab named Gunner. Both are very laid back. I know how hard it is to find good pet sitters in my area and so I thought since I love dogs, I would help others out like myself. I have a nice yard, love to play with my dogs and will treat your baby like my own. We love to be on the boat on the lake, have a dock for jumping dogs, a long yard for tennis ball lovers, and just anything a dog would want.

Sheila was great! Came to meet the dogs and they loved her! She kept us informed on how the dogs were doing and sent us pictures. I hope she’ll come and take care of our pups again!

I am a work from home person so am here pretty much all the time. I'm flexible, and I love dogs! I know your dogs will love it here.

Safety, trust & environment
While my yard isn't fenced, I never let clients dogs out without them being on a leash. When in my home, I keep pets under close supervision. I do prefer if the pets are younger, that they come with a kennel for crating at night or during the day if I need to run somewhere. However, older, mellow, non aggressive and non destructive dogs are free to just be comfortable wherever they choose while they are here. I do have a Vari Kennel here that fits my 50 pound lab so if you don't have a kennel to bring and your dog will fit in mine, that is fine.
Pets
A typical day
We take many potty breaks a day and can play fetch, just cruise around the yard, go for a swim, or even take a walk. If your dogs are lazy and just like to chill, my home is comfy for that too.

- If your dogs has any special needs, let me know when booking. I can administer meds, but not injections. If you have a kennel that your dog likes it's best to bring that. You can also bring any bed/blankets your dog likes so it helps them be more comfortable.
