Pet care is woven into my daily routine. Between homeschooling our daughter and managing our home and all the projects of our Farm, caring for animals through feeding, walks, training, playtime, and supervision is a consistent, intentional part of every day!

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets in our home as if they are part of our family. They receive a safe, calm environment with structured routines that include feeding, walks, playtime, rest, and one-on-one attention. I take time to understand each pet's personality, comfort level, and needs, whether that means active engagement, gentle training, or quiet companionship. Pets are closely supervised, shown patience and kindness, and given plenty of affection so they feel secure, respected, and at home while in my care.

Information Sheila S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if there are any special needs your furbaby may require. Do they need a slow-feeder, do they like to chew on things, is there a favorite game or toy they prefer, are they kennel/crate trained, special feeding instructions, aggressions, escape artists, medications needed, etc. Any info you provide will help me better understand what your pets needs are.
A typical day
I love to walk the pups in my care as well as leash free yard time. I like to stimulate them by teaching a new trick or playing games. I also provide socialization to those that are friendly with other dogs.

Pet care experience
Pet care in our home is truly a calling for me. I have over 35 years of experience caring for animals, and I humbly believe God has given me a special gift for working with them. I provide hands-on, attentive care every day, including walking, feeding, basic training reinforcement, and—most importantly—genuine affection and companionship. I offer a calm, structured, and nurturing environment where pets are treated like family, not just clients. I am comfortable working with a wide variety of pets and take the time to understand each animal’s unique needs and personality. Your pet will receive patient, individualized care, plenty of interaction, and a safe, loving place to feel at home while you’re away.

Reviews

Sheila took excellent care of our two pups! Will use again and would recommend. Thanks!
I left my elderly pet with Sheila. She is very loving and gives personal care to each dog. My dog really loves her. I won't leave my dog with anyone else. While I was gone ,Sheila sent pictures of my pet out playing, at rest. Assuring me she was fine. I was away two and a half weeks.
