I have taken care of dogs and cats for over a decade, only accepting one or two clients at a time so that I can provide focused and tailored care. I have also looked after pets as a house-sitter, both in the UK and in France.

Our 3 year old (and very lively) Cockapoo has now stayed with Sheila twice, once for the weekend and the second time for a week. Sheila is an incredibly kind and caring host and he was very well cared for. I would highly recommend her and we will definitely be back!
Sheila was the ideal carer for our cats. She took the time to ‘introduce’ herself to them prior to us going away and kept us updated when on our trip. Would definitely recommend Sheila.
Bailey had a fantastic time at Sheila's for the weekend. His parents received lots of pictures and videos of all of the fun activities they had together. We would definitely recommend her for all your dog sitting needs. It wont be long before Sheila sees Bailey again!
Sheila was wonderful - she dropped by to meet my dog Ada ahead of the dog sitting appointment, and Ada instantly took a liking to her! Sheila kept me up to date when checking in on Ada, giving her her dinner and taking her for a walk. It was my first time hiring someone to look after Ada so I was a bit nervous about it, but Sheila put my mind at ease. I'll definitely book her again.
Sheila is a very caring lady who loves her dog visitors and provides a safe home environment for them. I have no concerns about leaving our dogs with Sheila.
Sheila is such a find! Her availability all day was perfect for Noodle who experiences separation anxiety and is an all-out lapdog. Sheila was so kind and caring, and also reliable and utterly trustworthy as she put Noodle's needs first. I will definitely use Sheila again and cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you Sheila!

Schedule
I am retired so am available throughout the day and into the evening, as well as at weekends. Whether you need me to pop in to check on your pets, or board them, I am here to help.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced back garden as well as a large summer house equipped to look after pets of all shapes and sizes. I can care for pets at your home or at mine - it is really up to you.
A typical day
Dogs love play, and I love playing with them. I am also a keen walker so (with the owner's permission) tend to drive dogs to wonderful walking paths nearby to ensure they get adequate exercise and time in nature.
