Over the past 2 years, I have discovered the world of dog training and my life has not been the same! I have been a volunteer at 11thHourK9 in Vallejo as well as Dogs4Diabetics in Concord, and have learned techniques related to basic and service dog obedience training (sit, down, place, heel), as well as the ability to handle large dogs. Over the past two years, I have fostered 7 dogs, from a small chihuahua mix puppy to a young Dutch shepherd. Each of these 7 dogs have taught me something about forming trust, developing a bond, and the power of a solid recall.
