A typical day
The city is fully of nice parks and pathways around the ponds in almost every neighborhood. Sometimes my sister and her dog will meet up with us for playtime if your dog is small and likes to play with other dogs. Some dogs just like to cuddle or if they are a senior they love a good back massage. Social dogs will enjoy going down to our private dog park. It’s fenced and the guest can meet some of the friendly little dogs who live in the building. If your dog loves toys I have a large toy box with dozens of toys to choose from and your dog is welcome on the furniture. My home is their home.

So your dog will get all of my focus and will be in a very calm environment. My dog Marlo is very sweet and calm and is an excellent hostess to our guests. I have been away from Rover for awhile busy with clients I’ve had for many years but I would love to expand my clientele and look forward to giving your dog the best one on one care like they deserve.I have loved animals my whole life. In my late teens I had rabbits and for the last 30 years I have had dogs. Out of high school I worked as a vet tech in training for a year. Then from the age of 21 to my early 40s I was blessed to have 6 dogs in my life 3 of which were rescues. All were with me until their very senior years. I have learned so much from them. Most of my dogs were fairly close in age so they were young together and they grew old together. I had the joy of a pack and I have seen and learned so much through the lifetimes of six dogs, one of which was a paraplegic with IVDD. So I am experienced with special needs dogs, seniors, IVDD, manual bladder emptying, dog diapers, blindness, and palliative care. I am able to administer medications including injections and know CPR and what to do in other emergencies. My experiences have taught me empathy, how to serve selflessly and love unconditionally. When my last dog, who was a paraplegic, passed away I fostered a 4 year old female dachshund with IVDD and working with the rescue fully rehabilitated her. I adopted her (Marlo) in 2024 and she is a great hostess to our guest dogs. I get to meet so many perfect little souls and spend time giving them happy moments, comfort, and security while their moms and dads are at work or travelling. I am extremely capable with seniors and special needs dogs because I understand them and what they need medically, physically, and emotionally. All dogs hold a special place in my heart. I have many repeat clients I gained through word of mouth before I came to Rover and look forward to being more available to start meeting new Rover clients so, though I'm just becoming available, I can provide plenty of references from petsitting clients I've been booked with. *Please note my rate amount covers the the booking fee you pay to Rover and the 30 percent fee I pay to Rover

Awesome! That’s how I describe Sheena as a pet sitter. Top notch and caring, knowledgeable and sweet in every way💖. My little Peanut has a lot of issues and I think he was rehabilitated in so many ways in the week he stayed with Sheena. He’s less anxious and made new doggy friends. I almost don’t want to say too many positive things about Sheena in case she becomes too popular and I can’t get a booking with her! So grateful to have someone like Sheena to entrust with my precious Luna. Like most dogs, Luna gets pretty stressed anytime she has to be away from me. When I drop her off at Sheena's she settles in very quickly and it's more a case of "Mommy who?“. I like that Sheena only takes 1 client at a time allowing her to focus more on my dog. She also sends regular updates with pictures and videos of all the adventures Luna is having. She's very knowledgeable and experienced with medical issues and any special needs your dog may have. I am confident that she is capable of handling any emergency that may arise. It's nice to have peace of mind that Luna is getting the best care possible.
Sheena is amazing! An absolute angel! I have a senior pug/shi tzu and she has quickly become “Auntie Sheena”. My dog, Sammy, gets super excited when he hears her name and absolutely loves hanging out with Sheena and getting to have play dates with her and her sister, and her sister’s dog, Luna. Sheena has been very helpful during a very stressful move and took Sammy to his vet appointment for me on one stressful, snowy day (the vet even commented to me after how great Sheena did with Sammy). She also has helped give Sammy eye drops and any medications whenever needed. She has a calming, kind and loving presence about her and it shows by her taking Sammy to the pet store for a treat, an extra walk (to help shed some of his pounds lol) or simply cuddling with him and making Sammy feel safe and secure. I have zero worries when Sheena is looking after Sammy. I have had many pet sitters in the past, but I can honestly say Sheena has become family. I would highly recommend her over and over again!
