I work from home and am close to 2 parks. Your dog will get at least 2 good long walks and a ton of outdoor breaks in between. I’m a homebody so afternoons and evenings will be indoors and a lot of couch time for your pup. If there’s an occasion where I would be out of the house for errands, I have cameras installed for safety and monitoring.

Information Sheena S. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if there’s any specific task for your dog or they have preferences ie not being picked up. My senior dog has a daily check list and I can apply the for your dog too ie. Ear wiping, paw rinse after a walk.
A typical day
We start the day with a quick sniff in the backyard and morning potty. After morning meal, it’s a 15 minute walk away from Alamo Square park. Back at home we hang, have enrichment toys and max out any warm weather outside in the common patio. There’s a last long walk in the early evening before the last meal and close out the day.

Pet care experience
My wonderful senior dog of 13 years passed and I have so much care for dogs that I want to give. I’ve been around and have taken cared of dogs all my life. I babysit for friends, help them with basic training (ie.sit, stay) and have a lot of experience with senior dogs from my own dog and fostering. Daycare and boarding will be at my apartment where I work from remotely. It has a lot of space, a balcony and a separate outdoor area for frequent outdoor breaks throughout the day. I can cook specific meals, help them ingest pills and have a car in case of emergencies.
Reviews

Sheena is awesome, from start to finish. Her care and kindness immediately come through and your first impression is "This is a great match for my pup." Louise had a beautiful day with Sheena, and we received plenty of updates and photos throughout the day.
Sheena is an incredibly sweet and loving caregiver! My dogs absolutely adore her, and they get along perfectly with her dog, Midnight, who is a total sweetheart. Sheena truly goes the extra mile to make her guests (humans & dogs) feel welcomed and comfortable. I trust her to care for my pets and can’t recommend her enough!
Sheena is an incredibly caring, responsible, organized, and loving dog owner. People find it hard to believe her elderly dog Midnight is as old as he is because Sheena has cared for him so well - following a special diet from her vet to soothe his many ailments (which includes cooking food for him from scratch), giving him regular exercise, and showering him with lots of love. She shows that same kindness to all of the dogs in our circle of friends, and would be an incredible sitter for any dog.
Sheena truly loves dogs and is an amazing caretaker to her elderly beagle, Midnight. She cooks him meals from scratch to help with his various allergies and skin conditions and is always attuned to his changing needs. She has a calming vibe and is great with my energetic Chihuahua. Your pets will be in excellent hands with Sheena!
