Work from home dog mama
Hi there! 👋 I am a 30-something working professional in a tech industry who works at home. I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life, and rescued Chewie in 2016. I have taken multiple dog training classes (puppy obedience, shy and fearful, personal dog trainers) where I learned a lot about how to handle dogs and notice their triggers. I focus on positive reinforcement with lots and lots of treats and distractions. I have a rescue mutt from Vancouver (Husky / Shepherd mix) named Chewie. I also fostered a dog for 7 weeks in 2021, who has now moved to her furever home (yay!). Chewie misses having a companion around and since I’m not ready to add another pup to our family, I think caring for others would be next best thing! I'd love to do a meet & greet - maybe we can go for a quick walk together so we can get to know each other. I am also obsessed with taking dog photos and videos, so I'll make sure to keep you updated. Looking forward to meeting you 🥰

Sheena is a very responsible dog sitter. She started by asking detailed questions about May’s habits and routine. She was also very flexible — with very short notice, she was able to take care of May. She took May for a walk right away to help ease her separation anxiety, let her sit on the couch, and kept us updated with photos throughout the stay. We would happily book with Sheena again.
Excellent dog sitter, our dog Lou had a great time and got along swimmingly with her dog Chewie. Very easy to work with and good communication back and forth.
Sheena was such a pleasant person. My dog was instantly drawn to her and had a great time. They went for a nice walk and I felt very safe to leave my dog with her. Thank you Sheena for taking such good care of my dog, I will be calling again very soon!

Schedule
I work Monday to Fridays at home during office hours. I am home most weekends and like to go for long walks around the park or by the water.

I will treat your pets just like mine. I want them to be as comfortable as possible. Crates are welcome in my home to keep your baby safe.

A typical day
My work schedule is flexible, so I can offer either morning/lunch/evening walks, runs, or trips to the park! On our walks, we like to explore parks or go for nice long walks. In the summer, I can offer adventure hikes on-leash unless their recall is really good (I also have a long leash for training). I have a ton of beef liver treats and I use positive reinforcement training. I love teaching dog tricks as well, so we can practice it for mental stimulation (keeps them more tired than play). Other than that, I always offer love and snuggles all day long.
