I want to share a few pieces of honest feedback that I wish I knew before leaving our dog with Brandon & Shea. They were very accommodating in accepting a last minute request, and they do have plenty of fenced in space for dogs to run around, which is great. However, our spaniel came back with close to 100 small burrs matted into his fur, which we weren’t given any heads up about. He was filthy (which is not a big deal - often expected after a fun rover stay), and from photos we received, I’m not sure he was ever even toweled off after running around in the rain. He was clearly uncomfortable with how dirty he was and kept trying to lick himself clean until we got home and bathed him. This is not an inherent negative, but it’s also worth noting it may not be the best spot for dogs who are prone to eating items they shouldn’t. They do have young kids, and there were lots of small toys and items scattered throughout the yard and in photos we received - items that could be swallowed by a dog very quickly but still large enough to cause major intestinal issues. For a laidback dog who doesn’t need close attention, this is still a great Rover. But for mischievous pups or long haired breeds, it may not be the best fit.

Our sweet senior beagle came home very happy and had a “kick in his step”! He had a wonderful visit playing with other very sweet dogs! Thank you for his special care!!

Brandon clearly knows dogs behavior, which made me comfortable leaving Kinsley, Kirby, and Pistachio under his care. At drop off, our dogs got acquainted with the front yard and Kinsley was already playing fetch with Brandon. After we left, the dogs went inside and met the other dogs and I appreciated this approach--with us around, our dogs could have been protective. Updates were very frequent in the first 36 hours, which I needed, then appropriately spaced after that.
