I have recently relocated to Frederick, Maryland from California after recently retiring & wanting to be closer to family <3 I have over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits, including senior and special-needs pets and animals requiring medications. I currently have a French Bulldog, four cats, and a rabbit of my own, so caring for multiple animals with different personalities, routines, and needs is part of my everyday life. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding and care instructions, providing walks and enrichment, and recognizing changes in an animal’s behavior or health. I’ve also volunteered with animal shelters in both California and North Carolina. I worked as a first responder for almost 14 years, I’m dependable, trustworthy, safety-conscious, and take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pets very seriously.

Schedule
I’m retired with a completely flexible schedule, so pet care can easily be accommodated throughout my day. I’m available mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays for boarding, doggy daycare, and plenty of one-on-one attention.

I provide a safe, comfortable environment tailored to each pet’s individual needs and routine. I have a fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and plenty of indoor space, including separate areas when a visiting pet needs their own quiet space away from my animals. I’m experienced with medications, senior and special-needs pets, and will closely follow all feeding, exercise, medication, and care instructions. I will treat your animals as if they were my own while I am trusted with their care. As a retired first responder, safety, responsibility, trust, and attention to detail are extremely important to me. 🐶😺🐰🏡🐾

A typical day
I’ll tailor each day to your pet’s normal routine, energy level, and personality. Depending on what they enjoy, we can take walks, have supervised playtime in my fenced backyard, play with their favorite toys, practice enrichment activities, or simply relax and cuddle. I want their stay to feel comfortable, familiar, and fun while you’re away.

- Please let me know about your pet’s normal routine, temperament, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, medical or mobility needs, and any behavioral concerns. I’d also like to know how they interact with other dogs, cats, and unfamiliar people, whether they have any history of aggression or resource guarding, and if they are prone to escaping or have separation anxiety. The more I know beforehand, the better I can keep your pet safe, comfortable, and happy.
