I am a nurse and am used to being responsible for the well being, safety, and vulnerable states of life. I have watched some dogs on Rover as-well as friends animals and absolutely enjoyed it! I would carry this same mindset in caring for your pet (and you as their owner)! I enjoy “life” giving activities such as being outside in nature balanced by being a “grandma-adjacent home body”.

Shayli was responsive and easy to coordinate with. She took Bubbles out to enjoy the beautiful day and was proactive about checking for any special instructions both before and during the visit. I also appreciated that she asked for permission before doing anything that might involve additional risk. I'd happily book with her again.
Shay is great! Very reliable and trustworthy, She has taken care of our dogs a few times while we went away and she did an excellent job. Dogs got plenty of walks and were healthy, happy, and fit when we got back. I am pretty sure they missed her after!

Schedule
When I don’t work I am free to watch pets and hang out with them all day! When I do work I am gone for 8hrs with a 35 min commute on either end. I work shift work so have either the morning or evening off- I never work night shifts!

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a well lit apartment full of plants blocks from deer lake. I absolutely love this trail and would love to take your pet there (distance dependant on pets size/comfort). I would transfer my nursing skills to pet care in terms of taking the responsibility and well being of your pet (and you) seriously. I feel comfortable giving medicine to pets who need it under your instruction. Many cuddles would be offered to your pet if they like engagement. Alternatively a comfy spot with loving glances would also be offered :) My appartment is well lit, smoke free, and full of plants!
A typical day
I like to go spend time in nature hammock if or going for walks/hikes. If not doing this i enjoy being at home cooking, doing art, or watching a movie and puzzling!

- My expectations/boundaries to see if your pet is right for my services: - If I haven’t met your dog through walking or day care, I typically like to meet them prior to them boarding overnights at my residence if possible -No aggressive biting to humans or other dogs (play biting is okay in “play” context) -For days I watch pets while I am also working: must be house trained (I work 8 hour shift with 35 min commute on both ends- I want to ensure your pets bladder or anxiety levels feel comfortable with this time gap) - My strata is quite strict - I kindly ask that owners disclose if the pup tends to bark if left alone as I won’t be a good fit for overnight visits -Must be able to endure many many cuddles 😊
