I have owned dogs my whole life, cats since I was 10 years old, as well as worked as a vet assistant for 3 years and managed a humane society for 2, in that time I have learned a lot about care for furry friends and how to keep them happy and healthy. I love going on walks and being active, and I’m excited to share that energy with a dog who needs some company. My apartment doesn’t let me have a dog right now, so I’m looking forward to spending time with pups who need love, attention, and fun walks. I am open to pet sitting and drop in visits as well but cannot do boarding unfortunately at the moment.

This was my first time booking with Shay and I will absolutely use her again. I came home to a very calm and happy dog - proof that he was well cared for and loved during my absence. Shay reached out when she had questions and was also very flexible with changes to Steve's schedule. I am sure Steve misses her dearly! Hope to use her again in the future. I highly recommend!

I am currently working a rotating evening schedule, but my shifts do not start until 3pm so I am available on all days before 3 or any time on my days off.

I have a cat at home that I do my best to ensure he has the best care that he deserves. I am grateful for the education I received while working as a vet assistant on how to provide the best care for my animals that I would of course have that same mentality towards the care of other animals in my care. I ensure my cat is exercised regularly and stimulated mentally throughout the day to keep him in a good mood and keep his eating area and litter box as clean as possible.

A typical day
I love keeping pups active, happy, and comfortable. A typical day with me might include a long walk or two, some playtime, and plenty of snuggles. I pay close attention to each dog’s needs and personality whether that’s a slow stroll, a fun game of fetch, or just relaxing together. I also make sure they’re well fed, hydrated, and safe, and I’m happy to follow any special routines or instructions you have.
