I’ve cared for animals for as long as I can remember, growing up around both dogs and cats and regularly helping friends, neighbours and family with their pets from a young age. Looking after animals has always come naturally to me, and my love for them was especially inspired by my own dog, Toby. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and needs, and I always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable and loved while in my care. Whether it’s energetic walks, puppy visits, companionship, feeding routines or quiet cuddle time, I genuinely treat every pet like family. I’m DBS checked, fully insured and Level 2 Canine First Aid trained, so owners can feel confident that their pets are in safe and caring hands. I also provide regular photo and video updates for extra peace of mind. 🐾

Shaylee might just be the best in the business! We booked our 1 year old cocker spaniel Winnie to stay with Shaylee whilst we were on holiday for 4 days. It was a late booking and there was never a problem too big or too small with Shaylee. We received regular updates and pictures which made us feel reassured. Shaylee went above and beyond with looking after Winnie and I honesty can’t speak highly enough of the service Shaylee provides.
We couldn’t be happier with the dog walking service provided by Shaylee. From the very first walk, it was clear that Oscar was in safe and experienced hands. Communication was excellent, with regular updates and photos, and Oscar always came back happy, relaxed and well exercised. Shaylee genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after and takes the time to understand their individual needs and personalities. Her reliability, professionalism and obvious love for animals shine through in everything she does. I would highly recommend Shaylee to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring and dependable dog walker. It’s such a relief knowing Oscar is being looked after so well, and we’ll definitely be booking with Shaylee again in the future.

Schedule
I currently support my partner in running his business, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time throughout the week to provide attentive, loving care for your pets. I’m available for boarding at weekends and on weekdays after 4pm, and I’m also available for walks, drop-ins, companionship visits and overnight care depending on your needs. I love spending quality time with animals, whether that’s adventures and playtime outdoors, calm companionship, cuddles on the sofa or helping nervous pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away.

Your pet’s safety, happiness and comfort will always be my top priority, whether caring for them in my home or in the comfort of their own familiar environment. I understand that many pets feel most relaxed in their own home and routine, so I always aim to provide calm, loving and attentive care that keeps them feeling safe, settled and happy while you’re away. I’m well versed with local walking spots, parks and safe enriching areas for dogs to explore, including a beautiful arboretum right on my doorstep, helping make every walk both stimulating and enjoyable depending on your dog’s individual needs and energy levels. I am DBS checked, fully insured and Level 2 Canine First Aid trained, so owners can feel completely reassured their pets are in safe and capable hands. I’m also happy to provide regular photo and video updates throughout visits for extra peace of mind.
A typical day
A typical day with me is full of love, attention, play and plenty of enrichment tailored to your pet’s personality and needs. I love exploring local parks, riverside walks and nature spots nearby, including the beautiful arboretum right on my doorstep, giving dogs lots of new smells and safe places to explore. Whether your dog enjoys long walks and playtime or prefers a slower pace with cuddles and companionship, I’ll always make sure they feel happy, comfortable and cared for. I also love keeping owners updated with photos and little check-ins for peace of mind. Having grown up around animals from a young age, caring for pets has always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely treat every pet like family.
