JMU pre-vet student!
I’ve been walking dogs and doing check ins for family pets since middle school! I am currently a pre-vet student at JMU, but I spend my summers home in Earlysville. I would say this has been a “serious” job of mine since I started highschool. I’ve spent a few days a week for the past few summers pet sitting. I’m new to the app because I’ve been so lucky to have a lot of regular clients, and was then recommended to their friends. I’m just trying to expand my client pool as much as possible:) I have 3 dogs of my own, and one of them lives with me in my college apartment. I’ve had dogs all my life, but I also currently shadow at a vets office, work with the animal health team at the RHSPCA, and volunteer at the VA wildlife center. I absolutely love all animals and would be thrilled to meet new furry friends!

I will readily follow whatever instructions you may have. I am used to taking dogs on walks, but also fine with just letting them out in your yard and chilling on the couch. Whatever you and your pet need, I’m sure we can make it work:)

Shaylee has watched Pippin twice now and is basically her bestie! I love receiving all the photos, and Shaylee even helped a bit extra with taking my trash out and making sure things stayed clean. She’s really the best!
Shaylee was been a dream reoccurring sitter! She has done a wonderful job taking care of our Wilbur on her daily drop in visits. She took him on walks, taught him tricks, sent daily photos, and loved on our boy so well. We are so thankful for her! 🩵
Shaylee was amazing with my dog! And my cat too, honestly. She always showed up to take Kimahri for his walks and made sure to be mindful if he was having one of his days where he needed to walk slower or less (hes an old man). Very communicative and reliable, I'd 100% book her again!
Shes great! I felt super comfortable with her right away and my dog loves her and their walks too.
Shaylee was great with my doggo. She was punctual and very caring, I would highly recommend.

Schedule
I’m currently back at JMU for the semester, but I will be home for breaks/occasional weekends. My calendar is up to date with all of our holiday breaks. I will also be graduating in Dec, so I plan to be home for at least the majority of the winter! I don’t have class on Fridays, so if I know ahead of time and it works out, I am happy to set aside some Fri-Sun visits back home to Earlysville until then:)
