This was my first time using Rover to find a sitter for Meko. I am very protective of him and hate leaving him behind, but I immediately felt at ease after our meet & greet with Shaylee. Even though I was still a bit nervous on drop-off day, Shaylee sent me wonderful photos and updates within the first hour. She kept me updated every single day with sweet messages and pictures that completely calmed my worries. Meko had a blast getting lots of love, attention, and belly rubs from Shaylee and her husband. I completely trust Shaylee now and will definitely book with her again!

Shaylee was great with Brody! He got an infection right before his stay and she had no problem giving him his medicine and she sent some pictures! Brody is looking forward to his next stay already!
Really does a wonderful job! Very sweet and patient, sends pictures everyday with updates, handled giving her her meds every day with 0 problems, and my pup is always so relaxed and happy over there! Shes naturally a very anxious dog, so it definitely says something that she pretty much immediately just settles right in and makes herself at home. When I need to board her, I want to be able to continue on with the relief of knowing shes safe and in good hands. I've had Shaylee watch my pup on multiple occasions and I always rest easy. Makes a really big difference! Would highly recommend!

Schedule
I’m a full-time photographer and pet sitter, which gives me the flexibility to build my schedule around the pets in my care. I’m able to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, walks, and companionship throughout the day. My husband also works from home, so there is typically someone around to help ensure your pup has consistent supervision and isn’t left alone for long periods of time. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, so I do my best to make their stay feel as comfortable and familiar as possible. Whether your pup loves cuddles, playtime, walks, or simply relaxing, I’ll follow their normal routine and treat them like part of the family while they’re with me. 🐾🤍

I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex: • Your fur baby is welcome on the furniture. • Please note: I do have stairs in my apartment, which may be difficult for some dogs.
A typical day
A typical day with me starts with morning potty breaks and breakfast, followed by some playtime or a walk to get your pup’s energy out. Throughout the day, I provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, and interactive play to keep them happy and engaged. If your dog enjoys walks, we’ll get outside for exercise and fresh air. For more relaxed pups, there’s always cuddle time and companionship indoors. Evenings include dinner, another potty break, and some wind-down time before bed. My goal is to keep their routine consistent so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away.

If not, I’d love to know what they’re used to so I can make sure I can provide the care they need. Important: If your dog begins to show behavioral issues that may be unsafe (such as aggression, excessive destruction, or repeated accidents indoors), I will contact you right away to discuss the best next step—whether that’s you picking them up, arranging another alternative, or finding a safe solution together.
