Highlights
Pet care experience
Fur Mama of 6 Years & PA-C
No previous pet care experience through a service like Rover, but I have 2 dogs of my own who I love / treat like they’re human children. My long-term boyfriend and I eventually want to begin fostering dogs too and I felt like this would be a good opportunity to get my toes wet with routinely caring for animals outside of my own. I am also a Certified Physician Assistant and am looking for a way to make some extra money while I’m waiting to start my ER job in December.

Ratings and reviews
Shaylah and Nick have been so helpful!! Our dog loves being around them and takes the best care! We have continued to go back to them and will continue as well!!

Shaylah and Nicholas have been amazing! They always go above and beyond for my dog!

Shaylah was great with my pet! She sent some photos and videos throughout the day. My dog was so sleepy when we got home from all the playing!!

My husky had such a great time with Shayla and her two dogs today! I felt completely comfortable leaving him after seeing how well all three dogs got along during our meet-and-greet at the dog park. Shayla and Nick were both very personable and caring. I’ll definitely reach out to them again for future dog care. I highly recommend Shayla and Nick as Rovers!

Very reliable. My puppy loves her!

Shayla was just a lovely woman! She went above and beyond for my spoiled missing his mama dog. She even cleaned up his poop in my home! Definitely using her again

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
My boyfriend & I have a fenced in yard and 2 of our own fur kiddos who are very energetic and playful. They were crate trained as puppies, but as they got older and more comfortable in our house, we no longer feel the need to crate them regularly. When we leave, they are free to roam / move around as they please and rarely cause any issues. We are able to check in on them using our Furbo. However, if caring for another animal, we would likely not leave them unattended / alone for extra safety precautions. Ours are fed 3 times per day. In addition to the fenced in yard, our fur kiddos frequently get outside walks as well.
Pets
A typical day
Bring them outside to our fenced in yard and take them for walks. We have a dog park about 5 minutes away from us, as well as other regular parks that we frequently take our own dogs to.
