I’ve always taken care of dogs at a very young age. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I am a runner so if you would like your dog to take longer walks/runs then I can do that for you both.

I have a reactive dog myself and have trained him into getting comfortable to seeing people, dogs, and even cars. Not all dogs behave the same way and I am willing to put the work in to make your pet's life better when you have to do other things in your life. I am also able to cuddle and comfort your pets if they are more calmer.

Shayla was our first experience with in-home sitting for our goldendoodle Mac, who is reactive to new people. She gave her time and patience to give Mac the time he needed to be comfortable with her over several in-home visits with us until she did overnight stays with Mac. While we were away, we were able to relax knowing our dog was in capable and caring hands. She sent us updates/photos every day, and was understanding and accomodating when our vacation schedule changed at the last minute. We came home to a clean house and a happy and relaxed dog. Shayla will be our go-to for future vacations. We're grateful for the care and attention she gave our boy.
Shayla was our first-ever sitter for our energetic goldendoodle Mac, who is reactive to new people. Heading on vacation, we were confident our dog was in great hands. She sent as many photos and updates as we asked, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time away. Shayla was thorough, courteous, and personable. We loved having her watch our golden and kitten. We did not worry at all!
This is our first time using Rover, and Shayla is above and beyond our expectations. Our fullsize goldendoodle Mac is reactive to new people, and Shayla has put in the effort to go slow with our boy, and it's paying off. Over several visits, she has won over his curiosity and trust, and has asked us about his tendencies, to help ensure his comfort and routine as she prepares to house sit for us. Our trip will be the first time that both my husband and I are going away since we've had Mac, and I am certain he will be in great hands. I can't wait to see how Shayla's relationship with our dog continues. Seeing her approach with him, we can tell she's an experienced and knowledgeable sitter.

Shayla was just wonderful!! My pets were so well- taken care of , and I came home to happy dogs & cats ( and parakeets)! My home was neat and Shayla kept me updated with notes & photos. I would definitely request Shayla next time I need a pet sitter!!
