Shayla communicated wonderfully during 6 days of boarding my 8 yr old and 16 yr old small dogs, including pickup/drop-off. I really noticed Shayla's compassion and dedication to my fur babies wellness! My senior dog requires oral meds twice a day and recently started having loss of interest in her food (renal diet has not been her favorite). Shayla diligently kept me updated on her food/water intake and a potty habits, and we brainstormed ways to keep my senior eating (I had packed various baby food and probiotic powder additives in case the kibble wasn't cutting it). 4/5 stars only because meds were given in food instead of by hand (and senior dog was not finishing her food), and it wasn't clear that a baby would be present in the home until during the stay (though this did not cause me concern, only surprising since not on sitters profile - we do not book boarding with toddlers in home for safety reasons).

Shayla was great with our dog, and so flexible when our flight was delayed. No issues whatsoever!

Shayla and her mom were each such a joy to meet, and even that's an understatement! I've never seen my dog so comfortable in a home that's not ours to the extent that she didn't initially jump all over me when I came to get her. It was heartwarming and speaks to the warmth and heart of her wonderful caregivers. I had that feeling of peace you get when you make the right choice after Chloe's drop off. The genuine kindness extended to me by them I won't forget. I'm so glad my first try with Rover was with them, and included great, consistent updates and pictures that I'll continue to look back at for added sparks of joy. My dog had options of where to sleep and was taken outside often. At pickup, I was truly sad to part ways with such special sitters. Thankful to have encountered her and her mom. I was grounded and humbled to learn that I do spoil my dog too much and she can indeed climb tall stairs without my help! I always thought dog boarding places provided first-class service, but I can't say that I'd go back to that model after the truly elevated stay Chloe had. I'll actively be thinking of any excuse to travel back to Massachusetts so I can bring Chloe back!
