A typical day
I love spending time with animals, socializing with snuggles and playtime. Whether that’s engaging them to get some exercise with toys or getting some lovings in while you’re out, it’s a familiar activity that I’ll be happy to do. I’ll also be sure to send you plenty of pictures so you can see how your fur baby is doing and what they’re up to with me.

I’m a volunteer at a cat rescue, for over two years now, working at both the rescue itself and currently fostering two kitties with them. I have experience administering medication as needed and supporting under socialized cats. I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs, my dogs were both medium sized, and am happy spending time with & taking care of both.

Finding someone you truly trust with your dog is incredibly hard, especially when you’re doing it all on your own, and Shayla has honestly been a rare gem for us. She walks Dolton regularly and boards him when needed, and the level of care, communication, and professionalism she provides is exceptional. What really stands out with Shayla is the peace of mind she gives. She sends thoughtful updates, great pictures, and communicates consistently, which makes such a difference when you’re away from your pet. You never feel left wondering how things are going or whether your dog is okay. She clearly pays attention to the dogs in her care and genuinely gets to know their personalities and needs. Dolton is always excited to see her, comfortable around her, and comes back happy, calm, and well cared for. As someone who relies heavily on trustworthy support for my dog, that means everything to me. Shayla is reliable, patient, organized, and genuinely caring. It never feels transactional. It feels like she truly cares about the animals she works with. Honestly, people like Shayla are hard to find. When you find someone dependable who treats your dog with kindness, keeps you informed, and makes leaving your pet less stressful, you realize how valuable that is. Shayla was an amazing pet sitter! She sent me wonderful detailed updates on my cat, and gave her medications no problem. Was such a lovely sitter and it felt like she cared for my kitty as though it were her own cat.
This is our second time using Shayla and she was excellent! Leo loves her visits so much :)
Very reliable and thoughtful. My cat is shy so he’s hiding under the bed the whole time, so Shayla left some treats for my cat fo him can easily reach it. She is very punctual and stayed for the whole booking time. Highly recommended and definitely will book again if it’s necessary.
