I currently work 4x10s at an ER/Specialty hospital and that allows me to have 3 extra days to care for and love on your pets while you're away.

I have 3 rabbits that I change out their hay, feed at 7 am and 7pm sharp, make toys for mental stimulation, and keep them entertained with supervised free roam time. My 5 cats follow a similar schedule with scooping their litter daily, feeding them home cooked meals and playing with them using several different cat toys to keep them entertained. Finally, I have cared for countess patients each with gentle love and care to ensure their experience at the vet is the least intimidating it can be.

Please let me know if your pet is wary of strangers, doesn't like a certain area touched, doesnt like to be held or needs any kind of medication administered. I have experience with eye, ear, oral, and injectable medication. I will cater to each and every one of their needs.
A typical day
I'll greet your fur babies based on their personality. If they are shy, i will approach slowly and calmy always respecting their boundaries. If they are high energy i will match their excitement and be as eager as they are to meet new friends. I'll tend to each of their needs like their water and food bowl, litter box, or take them out for a potty break. Then comes the fun! We can play fetch, I'll wave around their favorite feather toy or go on a stimulating walk around the neighborhood. Then we go home, have dinner and some rest after a fulfilled day.

I have 6 years of veterinary technician experience that includes feeding, bathing, administering medications, performing cpr, taking basic vitals and quickly acting in emergency situations. I am gentle with seniors and patient with young pets. I always carry my compassion with me in and out of the workplace.

Omg WHERE do I begin?? Shayla has been nothing but wonderful with our pets! My cats are VERY skittish but have really taken to Shayla because of her gentle spirit. She's attentive but also super respectful of their boundaries when they're just not up for company. Ive never had an issue with the way they're taken care of. I will always ALWAYS recommend her to anyone who needs extra help with their fur babies!!
Shayla is a licensed veterinary technician, so I feel more than comfortable when she is watching my pet rabbits. She has extensive experience with all kinds of animals and knows how to care for them all. Her experience allows her to identify any issues right away and she is communicative and reassuring in her assessment.
